Entrance Requirements
To be considered for entry into the Curtin University Master of Technology (Petroleum Technology) collaborative program with PetroSkills, all students must satisfy the following entrance requirements:
(1) Students must be participants in PetroSkills Graduate Training Courses (past, current or commencing).
(2) Students must have an undergraduate degree with a minimum of one year’s relevant work experience.
(3) All students must meet the Curtin postgraduate entrance requirements for English language competency.
To be considered a past or current participant of Petroskills Graduate Training Courses students must have completed at least one of the selected PetroSkills courses on the Master of Technology (Petroleum Technology) course structure. Prospective students who have not yet completed any of the PetroSkills courses, as listed on the MTech course structure, prior to applying for course admission, can be assessed for entry, but must show proof of enrolment into a PetroSkills course within 6 months of the date of application and must indicated which 3-4 PetroSkills courses they expect to complete over the first two years of enrolment.
Please note, students cannot complete this Master's program without also completing PetroSkills courses as listed on the course structure.
