About the Master of Technology (Petroleum Technology) [MTech]
The MTech program is conducted jointly by Curtin University of Technology in Western Australia and the Shell International EP Learning Centre in the Netherlands. Shell has developed world-class training programs for its graduate engineering staff that are delivered by Shell Learning Development Leaders (LDLs) in Learning Hubs worldwide. Curtin academic staff provide input and oversight of the learning materials and the appropriate assessment regimes. Moderation of results ensures that teaching and learning is of Curtin University's Masters level standards.
A Master of Technology (Petroleum Technology) degree is awarded to participants who successfully complete the 200 credit points required according to the program's course structure .
The MTech program provides the flexibility to jointly facilitate on-the-job training delivered by experienced Shell professionals with expertise in higher education provided by a university with an international reputation.
