Curtin Department of Petroleum Engineering
Master of Technology (Petroleum Technology)

The Curtin-PetroSkills MTech is a Master of Technology Degree in Petroleum Technology awarded by Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Western Australia, with partial university credit achieved through assessment of selected PetroSkills training courses.
This unique collaboration between Curtin and PetroSkills combines competency-based graduate training with formal academic assessment, allowing students to complete a Master’s degree with Curtin University, without leaving industry employment.
The expected course duration is four years part-time, however, students have the flexibility to complete the Master of Technology in a shorter time span if they choose, by increasing the number of credits they complete in any given year.
PetroSkills courses are run in over thirty countries worldwide, providing students with the flexibility to attend a course at the most convenient location and date. Curtin University assessment of the PetroSkills course materials can then be completed in a completely online environment from any location in the world.
PetroSkills is the world's leading petroleum training provider. Consultants and subject-matter experts from the PetroSkills alliance member companies regularly review and determine the content of PetroSkills courses, ensuring courses incorporate current technology and remain relevant to business practices.
