The MTech Program commenced in 2002 with a partnership between Shell International Exploration and Production BV and Curtin University of Technology for the delivery of an inhouse Shell Masters degree program exclusively for Shell employees. Shell and Curtin continue to offer a high-quality and recognised degree program to Shell employees.

Through workplace-based learning, attendance of accredited technical training courses, and completion of university assessment, participants can achieve the Master of Technology (Petroleum Technology) degree over a 2-4 year period, part-time.

The MTech Program is only available to Shell and Shell Affiliate Company employees.
